About Us
Founded in 2022, The Winter Park Playhouse is a professional musical theatre located blocks away from beautiful downtown Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida. A 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, The Playhouse is dedicated to producing year-round musical theatre programming on the Mainstage featuring Off-Broadway and Regional Premiere productions. Additionally, The Playhouse boasts a monthly Spotlight Cabaret Series in the beautiful piano lobby bar and produces the annual Florida Festival of New Musicals in June of each year workshopping new musical theatre scripts and scores prior to a first production of the new work.
The Playhouse also takes their talent out into the community-at-large with their Outreach programs : R.E.A.CH. - arts education programs directed to underserved children in the title l public elementary schools and S.H.AR.E - entertainment directed to the elderly population who are unable to travel to the theatre or afford a theatre ticket to see a show.
The Playhouse is known for its outstanding entertainment, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. Affiliated with Actors' Equity Association, the professional union of actors and stage managers, The Playhouse maintains exceptional artistic standards.
