About Us

In 2007, as a parent of a student with a primary diagnosis of Autism and an experienced teacher and administrator I knew that my son and other students with special needs could be most successful if provided with a balance of therapeutic support, positive behavioral support, sensory integration, small classrooms, and a strong staff of teachers with degrees/advanced degrees in the field of education/special education. We began a small, private, school for students with special needs grades K - 12. In 2013 we expanded our services, and became a non-profit, Christian school servicing grades K - young adult. We offer individualized, small group instruction, sensory integration, positive behavioral support, small classrooms, social skill/character development, health & safety, home management, horticulture, & trade/career skill preparation & experience opportunities both on & off campus. Located on the picturesque campus of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Maitland, our program is blessed to participate in weekly chapel services which enable students to participate on the altar, as ushers, and be part of the weekly bible story, through role playing activities and music. Our teachers have their degrees/advanced degrees in Education and fields directly related to working with the differently abled population along with 10+ years of experience. All of our teachers have been a part of our school and our mission for 6+ years! Full & Part Time options. Before/After School & Summer Programs. We accept McKay & Gardiner Scholarships.
